Kavyanjali is an assistant professor of computational social sciences within ERC-funded research project RECONCILE, at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, Prague, investigating how to build democratically resilient constitutional identities within Europe and MENA countries. Her PhD in Social Sciences (2020-2025 with cum laude distinction) from University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain brings together theories of identity, nationalism, and (digital) social networks to examine how online self-expression and interactions influence offline political behaviours, particularly support for radical-right parties. Previously, she was the computational social scientist (2020-2024) of the Volkswagen Foundation-funded research project, ValCon: Value Conflicts in a Differentiated Europe. She holds a research Master degree in Social Sciences (2018-2020) from University Carlos III de Madrid (majors in political science, sociology, economic history and mixed-methods). Before pursuing academia in Spain, she worked as a journalist in India with organisations including Reuters, CNN-News18, and India Today.
