Information on possibilities of studying in the doctoral programme at the Faculty of Law of Charles University for students from Ukraine/Інформація про можливості українських студентів навчатися в докторантурі на юридичному факультеті Карлового університе

Dear colleagues,

Allow me to inform you on the possibilities of studying in the doctoral programme at our faculty for citizens of Ukraine who fled to our country as a result of the war (“Ukrainian applicants”):

1. Ukrainian applicants interested in studying in the doctoral programme at our faculty can submit an application for admission to study in the programme entitled “Theoretical Legal Sciences – Law and Legal Theory in European Context” by 30 April 2022 (inclusive). Detailed information on the admissions procedure is available at: https://www.prf.cuni.cz/en/phd-programme/admissions-phd . Study in this programme is in the English language. It is advisable also for students interested in a “transfer” from another programme to submit an application for this programme; examinations already passed may be acknowledged at our faculty (depending on their content and form).

2. Ukrainian applicants are exempt from the duty to pay the admissions fee and tuition fee at our faculty on condition that they were granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic (they have the relevant stamp in their passport).

3. Ukrainian applicants who submit an application for admission to study at our faculty by 30 April 2022 (inclusive) must submit documents proving their status as students of a doctoral programme of study at their home university in Ukraine and proving that they were granted temporary protection by the Czech Republic (the stamp in their passport) – subsequently they will be designated by the Student Registry as so called “freemovers”. This status will enable them to participate in courses currently offered as well as courses of the Czech language organised by the Institute of Language and Preparatory Studies (https://ujop.cuni.cz/kurz/cestina-pro-ukrajinske-freemovery-a-studenty-uk). It will be possible to provide financial support to freemovers in the form of a bursary from F Fund which will be subsidised by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

4. It is possible for all Ukrainian applicants to apply for either combined study or full-time study in the doctoral programme at our faculty. Applicants interested in full-time study should contact the guarantor of the relevant doctoral programme of study.

Шанивнi колеги, пані та панове,

звертаюся до Вас з інформацією про можливості навчання громадян України, які втекли на нашу територію внаслідок війни (далі як „абітурієнти з України“) в докторантурі нашого факультету:

1. Якщо абітурієнт з України зацікавлений навчатися в докторантурі на нашому факультеті,  заяву на навчання в докторантурі за програмою «Теоретичні юридичні науки – право та теорія права в європейському контексті» можливо подати до 30 квітня 2022 року (включно). Детальна інформація щодо процедури вступу доступна тут: https://www.prf.cuni.cz/en/phd-programme/admissions-phd . Навчання за цією програмою проводиться англійською мовою. Подачу заяви на навчання в докторантурі за цiєю програмою також слід рекомендувати i тим, хто зацікавлений у можливому «переведенi з  іншого закладу вищої освіти », з умовою, що вже складені іспити можуть бути (залежно від їх змісту та форми) згодом визнані нашим факультетом.

2. Абітурієнти з України звільняються від обов'язку оплати вступного внеску та оплати за навчання на нашому факультеті. Умовою є, що їм було надано тимчасовий захист на території  Чеської Республiки (штамп у паспорті).

3. Абітурієнти з України, які подадуть заяву на навчання в докторантурі на нашому факультеті до 30 квітня 2022 року (включно), повиннi подати документи, що підтверджують їх статус докторанта на  факультеті в Україні де вони навчались та документи, що підтверджують надання їм тимчасового захисту на території  Чеської Республiки(штамп у паспорті)  в такому випадку будуть навчальним відділом факультету зарахованi до числа так званих «freemovery». Цей статус дозволить їм брати участь в навчаннi яке проходить на факультетi а також мати можливість брати участь у курсах чеської мови, організованих Інститутом мови та професійної підготовки (https://ujop.cuni.cz/kurz/cestina-pro-ukrajinske-freemovery-a-studenty-uk ). Freemovers зможуть отримати фінансову підтримку за рахунок стипендії Фонду F, який субсидуватиме Міністерство освіти.

3. Для всіх абітурієнтів з України є можливість подати заяву на навчання в докторантурі як на комбіновану форму, так і на денну форму навчання в докторантурі на нашому факультеті. Якщо вас цікавить денна форма навчання, звертайтеся до гаранта відповідної програми докторантури.
