A research project on „Regulatory Sandboxes“ will be carried out under the umbrella of the European University Alliance 4 EU+
The proposal for a research project on „Regulatory Sandboxes“, which was prepared in cooperation between the law schools in Prague, Copenhagen, Milan and Geneva, was successful in the competition for financial support from the European University Alliance 4 EU+.
The research project aims to tackle to topic of regulatory sandboxes, that means of special legal frameworks, that have been established to enable trial regime for certain innovative and emerging technologies (such as new sources of energy, medicines, financial products).
The research project will be carried out in the cooperation between the Law Faculty, Charles University and three foreign partners – the University of Copenhagen, the University of Geneva and the University of Milan. Under the umbrella of this initiative, a hybrid workshop is planned to be held at the Law Faculty, Charles University to discuss various practical and theoretical issues arising from the phaenomenon of regulatory sandboxes.
The aim of the project is also to establish long-lasting partnership between our Law Faculty and other three partners in the framework of the European University Alliance 4 EU+.
